Orcs and Goblins

These are some Night Goblins i have had and used for Adepticon.  The original unit of 40 only had standard GW bases and I have since worked on 42 more NGs with raised bases, 1/4 inch cork.  The cloaks are rehighlighted with more grey, love me some grey, and the red was added to the hood so the unit has some type of universal marking.  3 fanatics also fit into this scheme if they are needed.

Adepticon 2013 - Overview of Tournaments and my results.

Well back from Adepticon and I had 4 great days of gaming.  Some disappointment in some games but lessons well learned.  I ended up winning Best Overall for the Thursday AM champs with O&G, going 2-1. Then going 1-1-1 with Ogres in the PM tournament.  Friday during the Team Tournament Steve and myself went 1-2 because of some mistakes made but still had fun.  During the championships the Chaos dwarfs bailed on me and opponents were ready.  My first game of the Championships sought my General sucked into the warp and war machines blown up, second game a win versus a panicking O&G army, and then my third round lizardmen redeployed a unit with a Saurus Oldblood and Blade of Realitied my destroyer and Iron Demon into oblivian!  Day 2 of the champs I got a little more relaxed and went 1-1 with an overall record of 2-3.  A couple lessons learned and maybe list changes to come.  Had a good time and got a plaque for the wall!  Then I learned that I got 2nd best sports for the Warhammer Championships, whew.  Thanks again, look, read and enjoy.

Hobby update.

Well the next big GT is Midwest Rampage in Peoria, Illinois.   It is a 40 person, 3,000pt tournament with no grand army rules however tough lists are encouraged.  Additionally, there is a table top competition with any willing participant.  The difficulty with this is you must build what your assigned and bring it with you.  My 2013 battleboard has made alot of progress but I still have 3 forests and an Altar of Kaine to make.  Images below.  Otherwise I am working on bases and more Night goblins.  The night goblins are finished and will be posted later once they are glued to the WIP bases

Adepticon 2013 Team Tournament Images

I just wanted to post some of the great armies out of the Friday Team Tournament from Friday April 26, 2013.  Despicable We won best theme.  An army of all resin cast little men by Domus and Caius.  Great job, enjoy.  By the way our TT went 2-1 we just had bad matchups or bad dice.

Adepticon TT Army Chaos Dwarfs and Orcs and Goblins

 This is a posting of the 'Waaaghcast!' Team Tournament Army.  We have Classic Chaos Dwarfs bringing the slaves from Tamurkhan.  Several things have been converted in the army including the Orcs, Fanatics, all characters, Bull Centaurs, Wold Riders, Death Shriekers, all command models in the army and big hat chaos dwarfs.  All of the basing has been custom done with either raised bases, Scibor Miniature bases or resin bases.  Hopefully the jist can be seen here we have alot of warmachines but plenty of big blocks to engage the enemy.  Hope to see everyone at Adepticon and hope everyone has fun.

Adepticon Prep..

After completing a new display board for our team tournament list at Adepticon 2013 I realized I still needed to repaint several movement trays, bases, magnetize the bottom of trays and more.  This is a little image of my entire table being occupied by all the crap!  More battle reports, pictures, and updates will follow after Adepticon.  Right now I am in a practice slump trying to finalize lists and get everything prepped for 4 tournaments in 4 days...  Hope to see everyone there!
